Hi parents,

We had a pretty good day today! The kids were a bit high energy but all around thing were good.

In the morning, we talked about 'new years resolutions', and the students wrote about what their goals were for the upcoming year. These ranged from learning to read better, to practicing lots of math, to acquiring a kitten.

We did some balancing, jumping, and falling exercises in gymnastics, and when we got back, the students had a bit of time to work in their math groups. We went to the library too.

In the afternoon, we had a class discussion about how to peacefully resolve conflicts with their peers at school. The students wrote and drew pictures of a time when they were able to successfully resolve a conflict.
