Hi parents,
We had a good day today, I was in a meeting all morning so Mr. Greg led the class through a few activities. The students got to see the creatures that have been living in the aquarium in our school's library!
We continued our exploration of the seven sacred teachings, and today the students learned about "Wisdom", which is signified by the Beaver. The Beaver represents wisdom because "Wisdom is knowing you have special gifts, and using those gifts to live a happy life". The Beaver undoubtedly has some of the most unusual 'gifts' in the animal Kingdom, but uses them to its advantage.
In the afternoon, the students had Music, and when they returned, the students began writing their own Little Prince chapters. They're off to an awesome start! I can't wait to hear about the Little Prince's new adventures, which so far seem to range from comedic, to heartwarming, to horrifying.
Since we don't have school on Friday, tomorrow is the Spelling Quiz!
