Hi parents,

I planned way too much for today and we didn't get to finish (or even read) The Little Prince. 

Early in the day, the students went to Music, and when they returned we did our spelling quiz. 

We watched cool music videos from India and Peru:

I really appreciate when music videos capture the geography or culture of the place they come from. Kid-appropriate videos like that are hard to come by though. There always seems to be some point where a guy in the background flips off the camera and ruins the whole thing.

We watched this video about Peru later in the day and learned a lot more about the country beyond the cool music.

We learned the word 'mange' (eat) in French, and brainstormed some French foods. A lot of food words in French are spelled the exact same as their English counterparts but pronounced differently.

The students wrote and practiced saying their own "Je mange de la _________" sentences.
